Look - not all brands will be affected the same way.

Gillette is not the NFL or even NIKE.

Especially movie and game franchises were massacred by going broke.

[Image: stunningandbravedeplorable_by_kernaalita...cl7426.png]

I just hope that Gillette doubles down. The competition will be happy to pick up the slack.

So yeah - go ahead and double down on it.

Fuck them!

Turns out that the boomer and Gen-X parents/grandparents were buying the younglings Star Wars toys with the result that the toys were the most returned of all!

They literally managed to destroy the biggest movie brand.

"Star Wars" toys among the most returned gifts this holiday season

https://www.reddit.com/r/saltierthancrai...ifts_this/

Gillette pissed off their fucking core demographic! Sure - some aggro-bitches would be even more pleased, but their market share of 50%+ is not going to rise much anyway.

RE: Gillette releases new toxic masculinity commercial: "The Best Men Can Be"
Guys who think companies can piss off their customer base without repercussions because of "short memories" do not own stock in Electronic Arts.

Over the Summer EA released a WW2 game critical to its bottom line. The game included totally retarded plotlines, like a mother-daughter duo fighting off hundreds of German soldiers. In response to criticism that this was unrealistic Mary Sue-level tripe, and offensive to WW2 veterans, an exec remarked: "We stand up for the cause, because I think those people who don’t understand it, well, you have two choices: either accept it or don’t buy the game,” he says. “I’m fine with either or.”

Gamers noped out of EA products. Sales of Battlefield tanked, sales of the other EA lines tanked as well. The stock dropped 50% in 6 months.

Will that happen to PG? It looks to me like at least ten million men will nope out from buying Gillette razors. If each spends $100/year, that is $1billion in lost revenue over nothing.

Gillette's revenue is $6.6 billion / year. A billion lost is a catastrophe for Gillette, and a catastrophe for Proctor & Gamble.

Baking soda for armpits, nothing but water for my hair.
I`ve done this for 3 years now, and I can attest to it working very well.

My scalp and hair is never greasy anymore, and as I mentioned there is no smell or anything. Once your sebaceous glands adjust to not having the natural sebum oils washed away all the time, they downregulate sebum production. Took about a month for me to adjust. I never think of it anymore actually. Shampoo is a BS product!

I'm not a web software guy but surely it's not hard to write a script that checks the like / dislike numbers over time for the top trending videos.

But if it did prove they were manipulating numbers YouTube would come back with "yeah it sometimes happens because we have anti bot algorithms that...".

Man, I wish this had worked for me. I did no shampoo for a long while, at one point I had used water and a baking soda solution once a week for almost a six month period. Unfortunately while my hair looked pretty good it was absolutely disgusting. Constant white flakes everywhere like I had dandruff, it was so oily and disgusting anywhere I put my head regularly got visibly marked and gross. My combs completely coated in oils and fucking disgusting. Didn't seem to smell that great either. But I tried, I fully believed my scalp would regulate the oils normally after a time, but at some point I just couldn't handle it anymore.

Now I use an expensive sulfate free shampoo that works just alright. Found a leave in conditioner, tea tree or something, that seems fairly natural and works great. I just don't know what to do about shampoo, the baking soda solution was mostly ineffective and that was the best no shampoo idea I saw. I think it has to be something sulfate free at least. Regular brands used to just strip everything out of my hair and it looked like a tumbleweed it was that bad.

Definitely ditch basic brands with sulfate, that shit ruins your hair.

PJW on twitter also theorized a kind of, no publicity is bad publicity, swing on it. The video like it or not has reached 6mil+ views and many more people in general, creating some mental real estate in each said person. So the outrage clicks have ended up generating a bunch of free publicity for the brand, bad or good, the mindless drones will still buy through pure presence in mind. Just like Nike and Kaepernick, it will blow over as you say, and then they do just fine.

Could be wrong, but was a decent other side of the coin take on it.

This ad is a just Gillette attempt at re-creating Nike's Kaepernick ad months ago. The last people Gillette cares about are the one's that would be annoyed with this ad.

When I think of Gilette, I think of pudgy, high pitched, estrogen-fat, office drones in ill fitting blue shirts, discussing "how about those piggers" over a cup of mocca-latte coffee.

Consumer Culture Man loves Gilette, Sportsball and jerking off to ass-to-mouth jewish produced porn.

No. This is what normal asses look like. Like me, you've probably been fed a steady diet of giant, disproportionate asses a-la Kim Kardashian or some other Instathot. Your mind has been warped to believe that that is what a girl's ass is supposed to look like.

Yeah, all those things are dietary issues mostly! I plan a long post on male pattern baldness in not too long, as I have some exciting news that also relate to oily scalp/dandruff etc. So I won`t go into details about that now.

In short, dandruff is caused by one (or several) yeast organisms that live in the scalp. Analogous to caries etc. in the oral cavity and many other similar issue, when they get too much "food" they will proliferate excessively and cause problems. In other words, they have a natural symbiotic role to play in the body, but due modern dietary input, they over-proliferate and their biproducts cause problems like with dandruff. (Basically increased skin turnover as a response to chronic inflammation due to yeast cell waste/dead cells.)

I won`t go balls deep into this now, as I plan a detailed post soon on related issues. But short version; Avoid or limit sugars, (including sweet fruits and juices) grains, seed oils and dairy. (low fat dairy in particular) Paleo-ish diet! Also avoid or limit alcohol, nicotine and especially caffeine. (Black tea is OK.) All these things will elevate DHT, and in turn increase sebum production and cause these problems.

We will stomp to the top with the wind in our teeth.

Someone wrote a bot which scans all of the comments on the video, and then 10 minutes later scans all the comments again and discovers which ones have been removed. Thousands of comments have been removed.

There's a feed of the removed comments being printed out:

Sample quotes:

Quote:A corporate, for profit message is trying to pass as a "moral" "community service" advice, because identity nonsense is "trending," "in," "fashionable," etc. Sure way to FAIL.

Quote:lol. Lame as F. Be gone

Quote:The damage has been done, deleting comments won't change a thing

Quote:Thanks for spreading awareness of the propaganda in use today, Gillette. Lead by example, as they say. Millions of views; I've gotta say, you're doing the people a service!

Removing literally thousands of comments that aren't bootlicking, but are otherwise civil and not objectionable.

1. Those girls are mostly ugly, one is a 6 at best.
2. KimK ass is horrible but those are flat asses. Women hold men to high levels why can't we do the same.

Topical caffeine/coffee on scalp yes. DHT is an inflammatory mediator, and inflammation is involved in MPB. It`s probably the leading cause in fact. (So DHT is locally increased to reduce inflammation)

So putting coffee (flavonoids) or other anti-inflammatory compounds on your scalp can also reduce inflammation, and will hence reduce dermal DHT. But that is not the cause of MPB, which I`ll post about in a few months, (In great detail) that`s serum DHT/T and the way it effects osteoblasts and the bone remodeling cycle. This in turn promotes skull bone growth and so on...more to come here.

But anyway, consuming caffeine in the form of coffee, green tea, dark chocolate and caffeinated beverages will elevate DHT significantly. Black tea inhibits DHT but elevates T, via 5-apha reductase inhibition. (This could be an issue with MPB also.)

This is a bit off-topic, and I hate the term "toxic masculinity", but the most (only) toxic masculinity I think about is what is shown in gangster rap music. I don't see campaigns about boycotting that or what kind of role models those kind of men are creating for young people.

That's how SJWs think. The more pushback, the more it validates the "warrior" part of SJW. Unfortunately the article is behind a subscription paywall but what I wanted to know is exactly why this guy feels so strongly about it.

Here's his bio:

Christopher Muther is a travel writer and columnist for the Boston Globe, covering everything from local haunts to global destinations and travel trends. Previous to writing about travel, the University of Massachusetts graduate covered fashion and style for the G section of the Globe and served as an adjunct professor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

Here's one of his twitter farts:

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck... What do you think the odds this guy is even straight?

He calls himself a "proud soy boy."

Obviously he doesn't identify with masculinity in the first place so how the hell can he be expected to understand why men would be offended? It's sad how these things seem to break down depending on genetics and internal brain chemistry. Why does everything need to be so damn predictable?

I will admit that I am as beta as they come inside and I faced bullying as a child. I've always had a raw spot for my own definition of what toxic masculinity is, which is a pretty damn narrow definition compared to feminists. But despite that, I do NOT want to be lumped into a group and lectured by a television ad nor do I want to deal with the subsequent dumpster fire of soysplainers and femsplainers dropping their smug passive-aggressive "male-tears" gifs all over the place to defend this shit.

No. This is what normal asses look like. Like me, you've probably been fed a steady diet of giant, disproportionate asses a-la Kim Kardashian or some other Instathot. Your mind has been warped to believe that that is what a girl's ass is supposed to look like.

1. Those girls are mostly ugly, one is a 6 at best.
2. KimK ass is horrible but those are flat asses. Women hold men to high levels why can't we do the same.

Ofcourse this is only my opinion.

Bah.

They look like boys. Hardly any tits or ass to speak of. Give me a 50s-pinup girl with an hourglass figure any day over these shrimps.

I want a woman who can bear healthy children and kill gazelles to feed them.

Go after Pankaj Bhalla. Personally.

This is the way our society works today. Personal vicious attacks, destruction of careers and/or jail time. Attacking families. That is the nature of politics and PR.

That's how the left wing plays now. The right wing needs to stop being so prissy and pick up the pace here. These are the rules. We need to play by the rules. Or they crush us.

Trump has shown us this. We need to learn his lesson.

People have been suggesting this for years, but the right doesn't have the media to run cover for them when they take this kind of action. Like how CNN celebrates and talks about Antifa, "protestors," or anyone who will get in someone's face as Maxine Waters encourages. In fact, the media will assist the police in doxing you if you or your group is on the right (or the opposition in general).

The lesson I learned from Trump is not to go after people or their families with a mob and assault them, but to mock them endlessly and publicly shame them. The bringing-light-to-darkness approach.

Sounds good to me.

RE: Gillette releases new toxic masculinity commercial: "The Best Men Can Be"
^^^ Solid post Questor.

If I had a shaving product company, I would answer Gilette with a campaign using real life cases like this:

"Boys will be boys".

This guy's Twitter is a compilation of unprovoked bullying and street violence reflecting the actual racial dynamics, it's a hell of a black pill... this is a good sample:

“Nothing is more useful than to look upon the world as it really is.”
