Update:

Based solely on this post, I went and made a Tinder and Bumble profile with my age 16 years younger than my real age (I'm 54) but I used all recent pics because I'm in shape and I know that I look younger than my age.

Lots of replies.

2 new closes last weekend, one on saturday and one on sunday. One girl is 34 the other is 44 but the 44 is actually hotter and in better shape.

And I have several on the line for future meetups.

Yes, the age question comes up eventually and I personally don't deny it. One of my codes of conduct is to be honest. When the 34 asked me why I lied about my age I asked her what her search parameters were on Bumble, and of course the high end was lower than my real age. But is she happy to have met me? Yup.

Yes, a bit along the sides and my scruff is salt & pepper. Most women I meet prefer the scruff look over smooth shaven. Some dating guru's recommend avoiding the scruff if you have grey but that surely has not been my experience all the way down to 24yo.

I've never been on a date with anyone who would ever make such a statement. I wouldn't know. I filter heavily before wasting my time and money on anyone. You should try that. My point is that women, in general, are predictable, boring creatures that rely on men for any excitement outside of their comfort zone. To be honest, so are many men who live their life on repeat.

I havent read the first pages of the thread but in my experience age doesnt matter. One girl in my rotation is 18 im over 30+.
1. if a girl ask about your age you shouldnt answer directly ( as all questions a woman ask anyway)
2. we almost always look younger than we are so as a rule of thumb you can remove 5-6-7 years easily without nobody raising eyebrows

Problem with older lizards is, their personalities decline with age.

Twice hotties have sat down with me after the initial approach and suspiciously said, "how old are you?" My honest response surprised them and later both bailed at the end of the date, when I could have sworn they were down with me. After figuring it out later I blame it on the age Gap stigma. If age doesn't matter they wouldn't have asked. If they ask, it matters.

I see. Yes, a woman like this is a perfect pump and dump candidate for a guy with any game. Usually, there's a reason why she's bitter and makes crass statements like that casually. I look at those as red flags.

For me, these days, the only plates I add to the rotation are the ones who I actually like and value in some way (quality vs. quantity).
