Damn if Vimeo took them down I will be disappointed, their major strength compared to YouTube is their willingness to allow non-mainstream videos to uploaded to their site.

I mean nudity is all over vimeo. Hopefully though he just took them down to maybe host independently on his own website.

Well I got two minutes in before my internet fucked up and I closed youtube. I like this guy, he seems pretty cool and is out there doing his own thing. Does he have is camera like hanging from his neck when he films some of these approaches? I wonder what kind of camera he uses....

Anyone know how you can make money like this... youtube views?

He's most likely using a GoPro, or a normal camera with some kind of strap to keep it mounted.

I have GoPro and the chest strap.... I think the sound just kind of sucks when you try to film like that... He is a fancy shmancy videographer maybe he just cleans up the audio with a editing program.

No.. he uses a DSLR camera.
He just carries it around and i think it might be weighted to keep it from boucing as much

When I first was trying to figure it out thats what I was thinking... but wouldnt the focus be off and on... seems like its always focused and crisp during those type of shots.

I have a Nikon D5200 I should just strap that bitch around my neck and try it to see if it works.

I found outj.. I think I asked me or someone else told me.
I actually wondered this years ago.
I bought a nikon p7000 about 3 years ago.
DSLR quality, no bulk.

*once the camera is set.. it isnt gonna auto adjust every could seconds. the focus will stay

I would like to think he has some sort of stabilizer on his camera.
If taught myself a good bit about photography/videography also.. So i have a general idea on how he is getting his shots.

A lot of the shots are him simply holding the camera.
Which I think is awesome, but I also wonder how e gets so many people so comfortable with beingin front of the camera.
Even random shop keepers and such.

So it looks like he converted a scammer for some Hanky Panky...and made a connection with another smoking blonde...

Great thread. I'd never heard of this guy before. Check out Riga, Vol. 2 part 3. His approach is great and the the girl is beautiful. Genuinely attractive with a sweet, feminine vulnerability. In the west, a girl like that would give out a completely different vibe. Is she typical of EE girls, or just a rare exception?

Volume 2 s a whole was awesome.

I loved the last couple episodes.. that chick was sexy as hell. I also thing the ending words were pretty awesome.
I would say it was a really good descriptions of what I, and Im sure a lot of other guys that have been to EE countries have experienced.

As a matter of fact. I felt like his on camera relationships mirror a lot of the short ones I had.
Meet a girl.. spend a exciting week with her.. falll in love more a minute, then realize you have to let it go and hit the next country in a couple hours

I think it's smart introducing the camera when he first meets the girl. I'm sure by the time he winds up in bed with her she is already ok with it. Probably also screens out girls and he doesn't show those that don't like being filmed.

I almost thought it was a GoPro mounted to his chest as well but for the most part the audio sounds pretty good and I remember how terrible my gopros audio is when I have it mounted in it's case on my chest.

All these camera's that the guy carries seem so large and "exposed"...some of the ghetto's I've been to the Travel Bum DSLR Camera would ask for you to be a victim of mugging...SO, have you guys had any experience with "spy type" camera's. Nowadays almost all can do 720p 30+fps recording. I had these in mind.

I am not a video guy but have been putting in some time researching it. I think the problem with those would be capturing good audio, storage and battery.

I have been looking at one of these (BlackMagic Pocket). From the sounds of it, you only get roughly an hour of video before the battery drains. You probably would need some microphone attachment like on the lumix I posted. Insurance is probably a good idea as well.

S3, I would say most people here are interested in a smaller video camera to shoot videos like TravelBum is doing. Got any suggestions? I'm learning this stuff as I go.

unfortunately, more and more rare. He should have asked her out right there, I legit feel bad for him missing out on that one, lol.

Especially in the baltics, women are becoming more and more westernized.
