And guess what? Betaboyfriend is still with her.

Don't be surprised if you read in the paper that this dude snapped and beat the shit out her, or killed her even. That kind of humiliation doesn't go away. The anger will build in this guy bit by bit. She'll say the wrong thing one day, and it will all come out of him. Truthfully, she'll probably break up with him at some point, because she can't possibly respect him. At some point she'll upgrade.
