I see 'Asshole game' as being frequently misunderstood to be a singular device. I see it as a combination of game principles used in a nuanced way(see the posts above). Like TK says, it can be used in almost any type of situation with success. It's a bit of push/pull, mental domination, projecting a solid DGAF attitude, dread game, abundance mentality from having options. It varies, but is usually successful, because it's done naturally or in a 'congruent' way, and women respond to primal behaviour.

I've noticed when I act like a complete asshole to women they get really turned off, I don't think any girl wants an asshole in their life but they still let them in. I think it's because a women looks at an asshole and is able to ignore his negative traits for the few good ones he has. Asshole game is one of the most misleading concepts in game.

Women don't necessarily like assholes, they like alpha males. The reason that some people mistake certain behavior as assholery is because the average man is so pussified that it seems that way by contrast. Why would you act any other way towards a woman who has not proved that she has any value to you? It makes zero sense to be anything but indifferent towards a girl who you know nothing about. You can be fun, but you should still be indifferent.

It seems to me like a lot of guys are trying to game girls by proving their value, when what they should be doing is evaluating a woman's value. Evaluating a woman's value is game. Raising an eyebrow and giving a girl a skeptic look is a chance for her to prove herself. Indifference is an invitation for her to show value.

In relationships the dynamic changes. You won't be as indifferent or aloof towards her because she obviously has some value if you chose to keep her around. This is where your knowledge of gender roles comes in handy.

I sit on my ass while my girl serves me breakfast and refills my coffee. When she leaves my roommate always comments on how much of an asshole I am, but I just tell him nah man that is the way it should be I am a man she should serve me.

I am not an asshole. I simply believe that I am above women. I believe that women exist to supplement my life, serve me, and make things easier.

If you believe anything else you have got it backwards. People who try to run it any other way wind up miserable. Nature has set out a pretty easy course for us to follow. All we really have to do is not fuck it up.

You don't need to be an asshole (defined as being mean on purpose), you just need to be assertive and put yourself first. You need always have a natural mindset of abundance and confidence so that you never do anything reactionary or cowardly with her out of fear of loss. Basically the don't give a f*** attitude because you really just don't care. Everything requires social intelligence (experience) so that you can calibrate to the situation automatically. There's no point to just being a jerk on purpose unless its part of some kind of play you are having with her.
