He calls getting dressed, the "Pre fight Routine". I knew I had to watch it from then on.

Don't normally watch Dr Phil...happened to be on a few weeks ago after I left the TV on the local news channel.

This guy claims to be the "Ultimate Womanizer", I think he's telling the truth as well.

The entire episode doesn't seem to be available online, but this guy has mastered the pursuit of women to a level few ever achieve.

It sounds like they actually really fall for him. Of course, it's being spun as a problem. The mainly 40-something fat women crowd booed him every chance they got. Failing to realize most guys simply cannot do this. The crowd would only prefer nerds in my opinion. Dudes without this ability. It just makes people mad when a guy is this confident & cool. I don't think it has anything to do with feminist/beta movement....it's just society hates really cool guys. Unless you're Fonzie.

Can't see the video as I'm in China, but from what I can tell it's basically another case of the American media (in this case Dr. Phil) hating on men for being men and doing manly things. I'm glad I'm not in America anymore.

Dr Phil super-rich. His father was a psychologist too. He doesn't even keep up his license any more possibly because he doesn't want to deal with complaints about compliance with rules.

Got his big break when Oprah hired him as jury consultant in an absurd lawsuit by a meat industry association against her when she stated that red meat was bad for you.

It's ok to be a womanizer or a "Player" as long as you put a positive vibe out there. If people read any kind of negativity from you they start to feel exploited and will hate on you with all their power. You have to know how to work the room.

Correct, if everyone likes you no one really cares what you do.

People have an incredibly hard time separating their emotions from reality.

The hardest part is actually staying "in state" 24/7. If you get crushed at work and are in a bad mood its quite difficult to "turn on"

Celebrities live in a different world...Clooney has a player reputation, but he's a Hollywood star so it's different.

Same way Robert Downey Jr would have never come back from his legal problems in any other profession. These guys are lucky to do what they do.

When it comes to "regular guys", society hates players or guys who exude (whether it be natural, manufactured, or a combination of both) "ladies man" appeal.

I think you're right about Clooney, just bitter spinsters hate him for the most part. He seems like a spiritually advanced guy to me, he did Syriana I think to make an anti-war point.

Of course, on this board people like someone stylish and cosmopolitan like him instead of Dr. Phil. This is a select audience.

But what exactly do you mean by "cool"; I must not be it because I don't see it as a positive quality. To me it means someone who is very unemotional, blasé, people who are blasé are boring to me. The cool kids in high school who were snobby.
