Interesting case. After reading the article, I feel it's one of those classic families where the mother and the daughter hate each other's guts, and the father is caught in the middle, trying and failing to keep the peace and ultimately having no choice but to side with the mother when the daughter goes completely out of control. The daughter is a Daddy's little girl and a spoiled cunt, and the mother seems like a harridan. There is obvious bitter jealousy over the father's affection.

There is nothing so implacable as a hatred between two women who are very close to each other, especially if it's a mother and daughter or two sisters. Watch out.

The whole setup including the supposedly badboy boyfriend who is obviously controlled by the little bitch reminds me of the notorious Marin County murder case from 1975 described in the excellent book "Bad Blood". Of course that case went quite a bit farther but I feel that there are some real similarities.
