Sounds like you've stumbled onto a female who's parents are keeping her away from some pretty negative parts of modern culture. If you don't want her, why are you so interested in corrupting her?

Hmm...well, as an established member, you're certainly not obligated to explain your views but I am interested in what they are.

As far as the herd, the group dynamic of this many highly individualistic men sharing some pretty rigid core values probably warrants it's own discussion.

Either way my outburst was probably unnecessarily abrasive.

After 10 months, I've bumped today into the girl in question in Tesco. It was awkward as things like that would usually be.

She was smiling, one of her feet pointing at me whilst we engaged in small talk.

Asked her about her parents, they were against as they had always been, then said to her 'I can see you need to go', and she said 'I'll see you around some time, maybe'.

Then, happened to be behind her in a queue. After she got her stuff, she turned around, smiled again whilst passing me, I winked and that was that.

However I do want to be completely over that girl and I know nothing will ever happen again, there were pangs going through my mind and body.

Can't help I am the way I am.

To make it even worse, bumped into her again in the evening - said we should have a walk some time and chat and got 'I think, I'm good. I need to go home now.' Cringeworthy, yes. At the same time this was a girl who held on to me whilst in bed like no other girl ever. Strange how emotionless girls can get after some time.

I would take Gmac's advice, not worth the hassle.

Admit you have one-itis and game other gals right away. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Nothing wrong with going for a innocent walk with her.

I do them, the approaches. Every time an opportunity presents itself. Like today, on a train, for example. Perhaps I'll post it in the approach thread.

Oh yes, she's not interested anymore, that's clear. I'm just saying what I've done and what was the result. If you read the whole thing, you'd know what was the case - she verbalised it also. Anyway, I think it's a good thread showing what not to do.

Reheating the thread more out of curiosity than anything else.

After she returned back to the capital to resume her university coursework, I bumped into her one day in Tesco and we had a polite conversation, I texted her a few days later but basically after a few exchanges she let me know she was seeing someone and, indirectly, to stop contacting her. I deleted her number, and that was that. Don't know to what degree her parents brainwashed her about me and to what degree she just lost interest but it was, obviously, dead.

Around a year and half passed. I forgot about her. Met other girls, had sex. I moved on.

Today, was having an appointment with a few minutes to kill prior, thus was standing outside the building and playing with my phone. What happens? She walks down that side of the street I'm standing on but because I'm on my phone I don't see her just until about she is to pass me, so instinctively raise my head a bit, our eyes lock and she, fully dolled up and in heels says 'Hey, how are you?' with a full smile on. I blank her and say nothing out of sheer surprise. It was awkward for a second, no more, then she resumed her walk and disappeared around the corner.

What the fuck?
