'SNL' star Michael Che blasted for his dating app etiquette (via Page Six)

Michael Che of SNL matches with this broad on Raya, which I've only just recently heard of. It sounds more or less like Tinder for "celebrities" (if you have a very low threshold for calling somebody a "celebrity"). A comedian I heard talking about it referred to it as "Illuminati Tinder".

Anyways, it starts out familiar enough. They exchange texts for a bit and then it becomes clear it's not going anywhere. She is texting multiple times in a row with no response from Che. Instead of taking the L, she calls him out on her podcast (apparently she has a podcast...?).

They are the worst, I don’t even know why I entertain this but I have to say … Michael Che is so arrogant and so rude and disrespectful that I cannot even believe that someone … you’re like a D-list celebrity to me, whatever, that’s why I don’t even care that I’m saying his name. I’m not like blowing up Jay Z’s spot,” McSweeney explained on her “Improper Etiquette” podcast released Tuesday.

If left at this point, it's really a non-story. So many dudes get blown up by crazy broads even if they don't have this type of platform and it's nothing (unfortunately) out of the ordinary. "Hell hath no fury like a woman spurned" and all that.

She actually texts him a link to her podcast to try to get a rise out of him, which predictably fails given how the rest of the conversation goes. So he sends screenshots of their entire text conversation over the course of weeks to Page Six. They publish it, she looks like an absolute retard.

It's difficult to pick out highlights since his responses are so dismissive (it's definitely a quick free lesson in text game for novices) and her texts are increasingly more needy and desperate. It stands up better when read start to finish. In any event, I think most guys here who read this will see exactly why it worked out the way it did and why some retarded NY girl who is used to having dick thrown at her by half-fags couldn't handle somebody not falling all over themselves to fuck her.

Game recognized, however. Both in the texts in terms of just pure aloofness and also in not letting her unfairly blow him up when he has access to as much of a platform as she does. The whole thing makes her look like an insane person.

TV viewership is declining. He's probably not recognized as much as an SNL star from 10 years ago, and now he has to compete with girls who have their own fame, and other men who are internet famous or reality TV famous. Even if you do have minor fame, you need game too or else you'll be like comedian Aziz Ansari who could only manage to date a pastry chef, and actively promoted her business while they were dating.

Her texts remind me of this woman I met through my friend. She seemed cool at first, but then shit got weird. She always double, triple, and quadruple texted. Then she started spamming me with random emojis and gifs at 3 AM, even though she was working a professional 8-5 job. She lost that job and ended up spamming the email accounts of her coworkers, posting inappropriate sexual shit on their LinkedIn profiles, and blasting everyone's phones.

I blocked her number, then she hit me up from an area code from a different state shit-talking my friend. I blocked that number and a month or so later she texted me from another number. After a few months of blocking that crazy bitch I think she finally got the message. It's been at least 5 or 6 months since her last text. I wouldn't be surprised if I received a text from an Oklahoma area code though. She's persistent and mentally unstable.

A couple things jump out to me here.

One, is that this past two years the mystique of the celebrity has been ripped wide open. There is no longer any illusions as to how fragile they are. There is more backbone and integrity among the lowlife thieves in my hood than there is among these celebs.

Their fragile egos are so massive to them, that when real shit happens - things that happen to normal people every day - they go so far as to try and ruin someones life. And that is exactly these peoples tactics. If she could have, she would have. But due to her bottom list status she was only able to take it so far. And that is where this dude was able to use his slightly higher status to rip her apart.

Really, these people should only be allowed within 150km of Hollywood.

The other thing is that there are male celebs that need to use a dating app. Its obviously an app for women, as males can date some random pastry chef and be happy. Good luck for a female celeb to do this, they would need someone further up the ladder in order to look themselves in the mirror each day.

I put 5 min into this thread, and already it feels such a waste.

This chick seems to have bought into the fallacy that any man on a dating website is without standards.

A good number of men would have tried to placate this crazy b-word or at the very least sooth the hamster.

Instead Che stayed unflappable & played it like he was the buyer from the beginning and it didn't take long for her fall into the seller frame.

Goes back to a chick's behavior (not looks) being the deciding factor on whether or not she gets to enjoy your presence.
