Hello all,

Apologies if the subject was already covered.
I have a questions regarding texting in the early stages.

How can you convey high status through messaging?
I usually do not have too many issues, I tend to vary with one serious message and then a cocky one.

But reading from books regarding status + the rational male, I realized that how we communicate with HB is more important than the "what".

I am good at displaying high status with my body language, texting is (obviously) different.

Any ideas?

Simple. High value men don't text.



Unless you get validation from texts like girls. Otherwise, how do you expect to maintain high status if you are hiding behind a screen and have lotta times to craft the perfect response?

If you have banged the girls, then the dynamics change a bit.

Text game to win = taking more time to reply than her, keep texting to the bare minimum, NO fucking emoticon

To add on, for every 2 messages you receive, you reply to one. You should be busy during your normal day that you don't have that much time to sit and wait with baited breath for a girl's text. You r scarcity will turn her on more.

I've written about this before, but I'll summarize...

- I've found that the tried and true RooshV text method has never failed me. Use texting mostly for logistics.

- It's easier to fuck things up in text message than score points. I keep all of my text messages lowercase, unpunctuated, and extremely sparse. It sends the message that I have better shit to do. I also ignore text messages that I view as low value. "Hank, I saw this thing today and blah blah blah." Not unlocking my phone to respond to that. They always send more.

- No emojis. Ever. They are for women and children. Communicate like a man.

- Texting too much makes you common and too available. "I was at the water cooler and Dave from accounting said the most hilarious thing today! OMG he's so funny!" I want her to think I'm in a courtroom everyday slaying witnesses and drinking with my high end clients, not sitting in my office trying to figure out why the goddamn scanner isn't working.

- If you feel the need to communicate, consider picking up the phone. In today's society, this has actually become a bold move. If I have to say something that's more than a sentence, I'll pick up the phone, and then usually say "I'm sort of in the middle of something, why don't we meet at [Taco Joint] and rip some shots."

I was actually out on a date today with a younger gal, and she was complaining that the men her age emote to much, won't talk on the phone, use too many emojis, and spend way too much time "expressing their feelings." She mentioned that she likes how infrequently I text, how direct they are, and how I use the phone instead. She can text back and forth with her girlfriend - I have more important shit that I need to be focused on.

Fuck all the rules.

I don't think it's a one size fits all on this. I think it also depends on yourself and who you are as a person.
All this text game I've read from books etc. never really worked for me and mostly just made things worse.

I used to always make sure I was taking longer than the girl to reply, used small letters, rarely made a dot to finish a sentence, never used emoticons and never texted the girl twice in a row etc. because many text game guides talked about it.
I even think it was in Roosh's text game guide that I read I could wait up to 4 days to text a girl after getting her number, the logic behind that was to make the girl become anxious and wonder if you ever were gonna text her or not. I don't agree with that.

And I also don't really wanna take some sort of science approach to just text girls, at one point I became almost autistic about it. Fuck all these rules, forget about them is my advice.

I started to see much more results when I stopped caring about "text game". That's when I started to become creative and made emojis of Santa cumming on a girl's face and troll a bit. I texted shit to girls, that I, myself, thought was funny. Pure self-amusment.

I like that kind of over romantic and over complimentary humor sometimes (girls noticed I was exaggerating so much they wondered if I was just taking the piss) and when I started applying that to Tinder is when I finally started to get a lot of girls out on dates from there too.

So instead of just being this aloof and super cool alpha guy who took ages to respond and tried to be the one who cared the least, it was like I started to screen girls to see if they had the same humor and the same high energy vibe as me.
I then started to get more girls that were compatible with me out on dates because I screened out the stiff and boring ones who would just answer "hehe ok" and the ones who actually liked my humor wanted to go out on a date almost immediately. And on the dates, many girls actually said they and her friends had laughed at my long messages, but that I stood out because it was smooth and very funny. It shows personality being like that, I guess.

I mean, isn't that what a high value guy should be doing instead? To screen the girls? Rather than trying to impress her and desperately try to make it seem to her like you got such high value and status?

Instead of trying to think that you have to ignore her and make it seem like you're not really interested in her just to make her interested in you? I say, fuck that. If that's text game, I'm above it now. Either the girl bites on my funny texts or she's too boring to go out with.

Ok. I will be honest. I don t agree at 100% with all the answers apart from Alpha virgin.
I am not a newbie so I already had several text game success... You migh be surprised that I have actually the most success using memes

I think it is very situational
@Dalaran, I tend to agree but I think you need to have first a very strong or long contact with the HB. if not, it just causes too much anxiety for the girl to answer
As for Emotion icon, I use them (in the same way as my messages in this forum btw) to avoid quiproquo
Also I should point out that I am usually too busy to have time to call girls...

@Treypound, good point. D you think it is not actually better to show you are busy in the evening because it might mean you are meeting other girls?

All of you recommend to pick up the phone. That s a bold move, i am just concerned about two things:
- the girl anxiety
- if she does not pick-up (because she is busy for example) is there not a risk than I convey that I am needy or I lose value?

Also about the "I answer one text one two" "I ignore her" "I take ages" it works well in my case once I F-close the girl or she conveys very high interest.
However is the girl is not fully hooked I do not think she cares. She will be like "bha he is just not that into me... it is okay I still have my orbiters" almost like a form of screening used by Alpha virgin

Like some said, I think the formula is this:

1- If she is already attracted and you feel you hooked her, you can go to the barely one word responses.
2- If you havent sparked that attraction and arent past that point, im a big fan of long texting. It can create attraction, create a bond, and sexualize the relationship before the date.

If i look back most of the hotter girls ive been with, what jumps out in my memory is the texting and how i hooked up through that. For me texting is lower investment than both calling and dating as i can just do whatever and text at same time.

Of course you have to calibrate the size, timing and content of your texts but its not like an hour brainstorming before each word. It becomes intuitive.

It depends on the girl really. For some girls a long texts will turn them off, others it will build comfort. If I've got something longer than a line or so to say then generally I'll do a whatsapp voice message, let's me use my voice and shows confidence, and still will only come up as like 10 seconds or something, small investment. As a rule though I keep texting it to a minimum and try to do everything in person. Perhaps I lose some girls to guys that are active on snap, etc., but who cares.

Lowercase writing, no punctuation, taking your sweet time responding, shorter texts, etc.

On something like Tinder you only want to chat with them as much as it takes to get them out. Once the switch to texting takes place just use it for logistics. Assuming it goes well and you bang, when she sends you stuff just respond in short texts. Let her hamster do the rest of the work.

Keep in mind that text game in Europe is much different than text game in the US. Most of the answers here are US-focused.

Roughly:
- European girls need "comfort"
- American girls need "alpha"

The only way to convey "high value" through texting is to rarely text. High value men don't have time to be texting all the time, and even less-so bragging about whatever DHV shit they are doing.

People who have a busy and interesting life don't have the downtime to be on their phone constantly.

Keep texts to jokes/teasing and logistics.
