Stupid shit like this will mislead a lot of people here. That just doesn't work in an LTR, which is what these guys are talking about. It misses the whole point of the OP, that rewards are good and necessary, provide positive reinforcement (in the psychological sense - i.e., encouragement) and make the girl feel happy and good in a relationship.

Great ideas from the others on the thread. Reward good behaviour in moderation. Make sure it's to REWARD behaviour YOU like, not to just give her what she wants. Fuck her good, keep up the passion and alpha too, of course - but LTRs (of any kind) require a little more maintenance and effort.

I was on a trip and I rewarded my girl with a $2 ring because I thought it was cool and has an animal that she likes a lot.

She's sent me a picture of the necklace I made for her bday (less than $20 including card) that has the same animal placed next to the ring and a message about how much fun she had with me on the trip (which she paid for more of than I did).

Man,

I just realized that I really don't do shit for my girls. I used to before but since I've consider everything to have an expiration date.....it doesn't really make any difference.

My actions should change from not doing anything to doing stuff like the ones posted above. Sure, things will end someday......but at least they'll end on a good note and the expiration date will be extended.

I don't like hanging with RANDOM GIRLS so if they're in my presence then they must be doing something right BECAUSE at any moment I'd leave to go hang with my good friends. (male or female) I've had moments where I didn't even pull a chick because my friends wanted me to spend time with them.

As a result chicks value the time we have together (even if it's very sparingly)

Its a good thing I have a reason to bump this thread again, because my girl has given me plenty of reasons to reward her.

Question for you guys this time: Do you reward her with the 3 words "I love you?" if so, when and under what conditions?

This is assuming your girl has been good, feminine, and already told you she loves you.

I used to be a terrible romantic at heart. That beta self has been put under maximum security but with this girl I have been able to let the old beta out a bit and its doing me more good than harm.

However I know that the 3 words are pretty big deal to girls and a hot subject on here, so Im not giving it freely.

I went against the grain and just said it first. I could tell it was getting to that point and she's extremely shy so I just said fuck it. I'm currently doing two LTRs at the moment so I guess I'm probably in a bit different situation than you. I have one girl who I've been with since high school and she has held it down for me so much, I'd rather not let her go.

As far as the new girl I've been seeing. I met her a little bit before I found this forum, so I've been trying to keep my frame with her as much as possible. She has done everything you would want a girl to do, show affection, be feminine, and offer support. I recently told her the three words because I've noticed she now uses "we" for everything, I've been trying to hold frame so much that she was starting to question me a lot. I may have used the words as a scapegoat, but I said them geniuely. Things haven't really changed much either. I find it better to just say it then rarely ever say it after that, it keeps them wondering but puts you in a nice situation.

Has she told you that she loves you?

Do you love her?

If both questions can be answered with a yes, then why not tell her what you feel.

Don't make a super deal out of it. Just tell her maybe just before or after you are kissing her.
